Party Platforms:
"Youth and Government" parties are those third parties where participants in the Montana program have submitted platforms. The Republicans and Democrats are automatically recognized and their official party platforms are linked.
If a third party elects a candidate, that party's platform will be automatically recognized for the next year.
Read the platforms and decide where YOU stand. Remember: a platform isn't a straitjacket. It simply expresses what most party members believe most of the time.
If these parties below don't quite fit your philosophy, create your own platform! Other third parties may still form a recognized party if they submit a platform by March 1. All recognized parties may caucus and run candidates for elected office.
